Mr Anshuman Dutta FCA is an early-stage technology Investor. Currently, he is MD & CEO of MCS Computer Services Private Limited which specialises in designing, developing and implementing application software solutions in various commercial areas and serves individuals, SME’s and large enterprises. Under his leadership, the company has developed customized software solutions for various functional commercial applications which are typically sector agnostic. New technological platforms have been embraced and the company has registered  IPR’s in the area of finance, production, payroll, education, tax amongst others.

He is an accomplished Strategist & business / financial Advisor. He is known for successfully spearheading the strategy on the side of the Indian fifty per cent equity JV partner for Connaught Plaza Restaurant Ltd (which controlled Mc Donald Franchise business through a 50-50 JV in North & East India) in one of the most prominent contemporary legal battles in the history of Corporate India, against a global food and beverages giant Mc Donald Corporation. He successfully played a pivotal role in  the group in its legal/corporate  war   against the global giant, both  at an International forum ( Arbitration in London-LCIA) and in the courts in India, at various levels, in India ( New Delhi) under Indian Jurisprudence

In his earlier role, he has helped in scaling and turning-around various business in a  leadership role.  He served as Group Vice President for UNILAZER Group (presently it’s company UTV is held by Walt Disney Group), having twelve divisions in UTV and spinning out two new entities namely United Studios and United Teleshopping i.e for Studios and pioneering Tele-Shopping business of the group. Prior to this assignment, he worked with Hughes Escorts Communications Ltd in a leadership role assisting the team in establishing it as a market leader. Immediately preceding this,  he served as a CFO for Herbertsons Ltd, (United Breweries group Co), as a  group financial resource,  where he has mandated to turnaround the sick Industrial & Automotive Division. Before this engagement, he was a senior advisor/consultant to Price Waterhouse in a leadership role in specific assignments after a successful three years as a COO in a packaging company ancillary to Nestle.

He is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has qualified his IFRS diploma from ACCA London and a certification from the ICAI in a course on Business valuation. He is an alumnus Mayo College, Ajmer and a Commerce Honours Graduate from Delhi University

He has been a national level Squash Player and has represented Delhi and Karnataka representing the state at the  National level. He trained in National Cadet Corps ( A & B Divisions ) for three years.
